Member of The National Association of Choirs. Member of The English Association of Male Voice Choirs.
For the Joy of singing seems to be a good reason for a group of gentlemen to get together and form a choir. As so it was that in October 1951 that the Solihull and District Male Voice Choir was begun.
For a short while the choir became The Solihull Gleemen and then The Solihull Male Voice Choir
In 1964 Solihull became a Borough and the choir were granted permission to wear the Arms of Solihullon its blazer. Which we are proud to do. The now familiar red blazer was adopted in 1984...
....and we are still singing.
